The chocolate and hazelnut base with crushed roasted hazelnut pieces stirred through, and texture is the point. Thicker and chunkier than the smooth Choco Hazel.
Made in Egypt at Emkay Foods' own facility, which is FDA registered and BRC certified. Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight; no need to refrigerate, and if a little oil rises to the top, stir it back in. Use a clean, dry spoon and reseal after each use.
Spreadable but with bite, so it's best where the crunch shows, on toast, over ice cream, or straight from the spoon. Not one for a smooth filling.
Suited for: toast and desserts where you want texture. For a smooth spread to fill and swirl into bakes, the plain Choco Hazel; for a smooth but more hazelnut forward spread, the Hazelnutty Cocoa (14%).
Ingredients: sugar, vegetable oil (palm, sunflower), crushed hazelnuts, skimmed milk powder (cow's milk), whole milk powder (cow's milk), low fat cocoa powder, cocoa paste, emulsifiers (soy lecithin, PGPR), salt, nature identical flavour (vanillin).
Contains: milk, hazelnuts, soy. May contain traces of wheat and other nuts. No alcohol or pork derived ingredients.
