Frozen after harvest to keep colour and tang. Store frozen, use from frozen, and do not refreeze once thawed.

Lovely cooked into jams and jellies, stirred through sauces, or left whole as a fresh looking garnish once thawed. Use them to cut the sweetness in a berry compote. For deeper, jammier tartness, the blackcurrant goes further. The redcurrant is lighter and brighter.
