Thin sliced baladi beef (locally raised, grain fed, taken at 12+ months) cut for fast pan cooking. The baladi animal gives it a strong, familiar beef flavour; slicing it thin means it cooks in a couple of minutes. Just beef, no additives.
Baladi beef, locally raised and handled through our professionally managed cold chain, so it reaches you clean, sealed, and ready to cook. Keep frozen; thaw in the fridge before cooking, not at room temperature.
Thin and lean, so it browns fast over medium high heat and toughens if left too long, so a quick sear each side is enough. Lightly flour it for a better crust.
Suited for: quick pan escalopes with lemon or a light sauce. For a paler, more delicate slice, the veal escalope is the tender option; the baladi escalope is the everyday, full flavoured one.
