Best cooked, where their sharpness turns deep and jammy. Made for jams, cordials, sauces and fruit blends, and they lift a mixed berry compote. If you want a sweeter, softer berry, the blackberry and wild blueberry are gentler. The blackcurrant is here for tartness and aroma.
