Ribeye Steak | Frozen Baladi Beef | 450g

A ribeye cut from baladi beef (locally raised, grain fed, 12+ months). Lighter marbling than the marbled range ribeyes, but the older baladi animal brings a strong, familiar beef flavour, and the fat it does have melts gently as it cooks.

Baladi beef, locally raised and handled through our professionally managed cold chain, so it reaches you clean, sealed, and ready to cook. Keep frozen; thaw in the fridge, then bring to room temperature before searing.

Cook it to medium so the marbling has time to soften and render, since pushed rarer it stays firm and taken further it dries. Season simply and let the beefiness lead.

Suited for: an everyday ribeye with familiar flavour. For a richer, more marbled steak, the marbled range ribeye; for a leaner, milder one, the young beef ribeye. The baladi ribeye is the traditional, full tasting middle.
