Baladi beef (locally raised, grain fed, 12+ months) cut into cubes for slow cooking. From an older, harder working animal, so it carries strong flavour and a firm texture that turns tender over long, gentle heat.

Baladi beef, locally raised and handled through our professionally managed cold chain, so it reaches you clean, sealed, and ready to cook. Keep frozen; add straight to slow cooked dishes or thaw in the fridge, not at room temperature.

These are stewing cubes, so they need time. Brown them first, then let them simmer low and slow until they give; rushing them keeps them tough.

Suited for: stews, tagines, and casseroles with that familiar home cooked depth. For a leaner cube with a cleaner finish, the grass fed cubes; for something more delicate and quicker to soften, the veal cubes. The baladi cube is the traditional choice.
